Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

About the role

Total Infrastructure Fiji Pte Limited, a leading construction company, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our team. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects and achieving our strategic goals.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Analysing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and other project documentation
• Identifying and quantifying materials, labour and equipment required for projects
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure projects are delivered on budget
• Providing regular cost reports and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders
• Collaborating with the wider project team to optimise construction processes and efficiencies

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimating techniques
• Proficient in using MS 365 & MS Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under tight deadlines
