Location: Fiji (supporting both Fiji and Australian operations)

Fibre Network Engineering (FNE) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. This critical role ensures that FNE maintains high standards of compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and meets all external stakeholder requirements across both our Fijian and Australian businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen compliance frameworks and enhance WHS risk mitigation tools across the business.

  • Develop and maintain policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Plan, prioritise, and execute compliance-related tasks and projects.

  • Conduct assessments and generate clear, actionable reports.

  • Ensure adherence to WHS legislation and subcontractor compliance standards.

  • Facilitate risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  • Promote and support a proactive and positive safety culture across the organisation.

  • Provide analytical and problem-solving support to identify and recommend business improvements.

  • Proven experience in managing compliance processes.

  • Strong background in developing, implementing, and reviewing policies, operational standards, work instructions, and system tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A proactive approach to safety and risk management.
