Head Plumber

Yasawa Island Resort & Spa are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head Plumber to join our team and ensure the smooth functioning of all plumbing systems across the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the resort’s plumbing systems, ensuring proper functioning of all fixtures and systems.

• Lead and manage a team of plumbing staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.

• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems and address any issues promptly.

• Respond to emergency plumbing situations and resolve them quickly and efficiently.

• Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to plan and execute routine maintenance schedules.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and work completed.

• Collaborate with other departments to minimize guest disruptions during repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

• Certification or licensing in plumbing (preferred).

• Experience in resort or hospitality environments (preferred).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
