Duty Manager – Island Resort

📍 Location: Mantaray Island Resort, Yasawa Islands

We are looking for an experienced, mature, and confident Duty Manager to join our team at our newly renovated resort. This role requires someone who can motivate and manage staff, maintain high standards, and ensure a seamless guest experience—all while embracing island life.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Lead & Manage Staff: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the team is well-coordinated, disciplined, and motivated.
✔️ Guest Relations: Provide exceptional service, handle inquiries, resolve issues, and create memorable experiences.
✔️ Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth running of all departments, from housekeeping to F&B and activities.
✔️ Standards & Compliance: Maintain cleanliness, service quality, safety, and resort policies.
✔️ Training & Development: Conduct staff meetings and training to encourage growth and consistency.
✔️ Problem-Solving: Address challenges calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
✔️ Community & Culture: Foster a positive workplace that balances professionalism with a friendly, team-oriented approach.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar leadership role.

• Strong people management skills—able to be both a mentor and a firm leader.

• Team Player who works very closely with management

• Professional, mature thinker with excellent decision-making abilities.

• Outstanding communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable with island life and adapting to a remote work environment.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Proficient in basic administration and computer skills (MS Office, POS systems, etc.).

• Fluent in verbal and written English
