Guest Service Agent/ Security Officer and Resort Handyman

 The Palms Denarau /Wailoaloa is looking for dedicated individuals for the position of: 

Guest Service Agent/ Front office receptionist

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

•  Educated up to year 13 or higher.
• Computer experience
• Must be able to speak fluent English.
• Willing to do shift work and flexible working hours.
• Have excellent customer relations Skills.
• Excellent personal presentation and strong general knowledge about Fiji and its Tourism Industry.
• Knowledge of the Room master is desirable.

Fresh graduates with hospitality qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Maintenance Handyman

This is a hands-on position and full time work at The Palms Denarau/ Palms Wailoaloa. This person will be working under the Maintenance supervisor.

 Requirements are:

•     Minimum experience 2 years.
•    Has a knowledge in cleaning and maintaining the pool
•    Basic knowledge in carpentry and grounds
•   Willing to work flexible hours if required. . 

Security Officer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at The Palms Denarau. As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. You will work in a dynamic environment, helping to maintain a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere at our resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol resort premises to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, providing assistance when needed.
• Enforce resort policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Report and document any suspicious activity or security-related issues.
• Collaborate with resort management and local authorities during incidents or investigations.
• Assist guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner when addressing security concerns.
• Ensure access control and monitor surveillance systems to prevent unauthorized access.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform security duties, including patrolling and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
