We’re looking for a Recreations Manager to take ownership of delivering exceptional services – managing efficient operations of our Kids Club, Teens Club, Fitness Centre and our daily guests’ activities. This is a great opportunity to work in an autonomous role, making change and driving the business to achieve operational objectives whilst driving the development of our team, of which you will play an integral part.
 
A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Kids & Teens Clubs, Fitness Centre, pools, and beach areas.
  • Develop and implement recreational programs and activities to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered across all recreational facilities.
  • Manage and train a team of recreation staff, ensuring professional growth and development.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of all recreational areas.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
What we need from you:
  • 3+ years’ experience in guest services operations, with at least one year’s supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High standard of personal presentation.
  • Meticulous eye for detail and exceptional planning and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service. 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a busy, fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving. 
  • Positive and flexible approach to work (Weekend, evening and night time work may be required).
  • Knowledge of managing budgets and profit margins would be advantageous.
