Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Vuvale Outsourcing in Suva is seeking a Training Officer to join our internal management team and effectively manage the training and development of the call centre staff.  


In Fiji, we operate a professional purpose fitted work environment in Nabua Suva, with local Human Resources management. You will be a part of the 50+ strong Vuvale team, but also part of an overall international team.

 


DETAILS:
Location: Suva, Fiji
Basis: Permanent Full-time
Roster: Monday to Friday - approx. 9am – 6pm

 

Key Responsibilities

 

    • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing call centre staff.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to improve outcomes.
    • Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires, focusing on company policies, product knowledge, and customer service techniques.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to ensure skill development and alignment with performance goals.
    • Collaborate with team leads and quality assurance officers to identify training needs based on performance evaluations and feedback.
    • Maintain up to date training materials in line with company policies and industry standards.
    • Organise regular refresher training sessions to enhance skills and update employees on new products or procedures.
    • Track and report on trainee progress, ensuring adherence to training objectives and timelines.

 

Requirements

Experience

· Minimum 2 years experience in training or coaching roles within a call centre or customer service environment.

· Proven experience designing and delivering engaging training programs.

 

Skills

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

· Ability to assess and analyze training needs effectively.

· Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.

· Knowledge of call centre operations, customer service best practices, and performance metrics.

· Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Certification in Training and Development or a related field.
