Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and a recognized leader in the Motoring Industry in Fiji, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the role of Automotive Electrician to be based at Carpenters Motors – Light Mechanical Repairs (LMR) in Walubay, Suva.  If you believe that you are ready to join our dynamic team we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities: 

• Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in vehicles.
• Diagnose, repair and replacement of electronics and electrical components.
• Identify and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems.
• Able to install electronic components.
• Test machines for any additional repairs needed.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Able to complete job required within the designated time frames set by Management.
• Follow management directions at all times
• Report any company Breaches and Concerns to your Service Manager first for action

Requirements:

• Trade certificate in Auto-Electrical engineering.
• Should have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in the Automotive engineering industry.
• Be computer literate to enable electrical diagnostic when required.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Highly motivated, reliable, honest and punctual.
• Must have a valid group 2 driving license.
