Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Rewa Provincial Holding Company Limited (RPHCL) is the commercial business arm of the vanua of Rewa and the people of Rewa. Rewa consists of nine districts. Property management and investment are the company's principal business activities, and its main asset is the ten-story Ro Lalabalavu House on Victoria Parade, currently leased to the Government of Fiji.
 
RPHCL is hiring a Temporary Relieving Accounts & Administration Officer for 3 months from 23 September 2024.
 
The Accounts & Administrative Officer is responsible for the general administration of the office's daily operations.
 
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Reception
  • Administrative and clerical support
  • Dealing with the public and shareholders' enquiries and
  • Supporting the Finance & Investment Officer in the daily operations of the company.
Experience required
 
  1. Experience in effective communication and promotion of organizational services and achievements including via social media;
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language;
  3. The ability to communicate in the i-taukei language is an advantage; and
  4. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, knowledge management and social media tools.
 
This exciting role requires qualifications and experience as follows:
 
  • Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is highly desirable
  • Experience in basic accounting/bookkeeping
  • Experience arranging events (meetings, workshops, etc.) and associated travel
  • Enthusiasm to work as part of a small team and independently.
 
Period of 3 months only starting from 23 September 2024.
