About the Position

The position is based in Nadi reporting to the Chief Financial Officer in Sydney, Australia and will involve a broad range of corporate accounting activities across both financial and management accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis.
• Manage end-of-month journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigation and resolution of accounting discrepancies, movements, and irregularities.
• Attending to general ledger reconciliations and maintenance of associated workbooks.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for stakeholder packs.
• Supporting the audit process including preparation of audit workpapers and responding to audit queries.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified or working towards CA or CPA with at least 3 – 5  years post-qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional work ethic and ability to work as part of a team to achieve deadlines
• Work on site in Nadi. Work from home is not available.
