Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and recognized leader in the Motoring Industry in Fiji, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the role of Credit Officer to be based at Carpenters Motors- Accounts Department in Walubay, Suva.   • Follow up with customers regarding payments
  • Attending to customer queries on payments, or invoices.  
  • Allocation of payments to correct invoices as per remittance from customers.  
  • Providing of invoices, statements as per request from customers.
  • Solving of disputed invoices and customer accounts.
  • Checking of Banking Statements for customer account payments and providing account numbers for receipting.  
  • Going out for collection of payments from customer, as and when required. 
  • Exchanging of chq with customers as when required.  
  • Assist in preparation of collection reports. 
  • Assisting in preparing appropriate reports as when required by Credit Controller/Financial Controller. 
  • Providing information to customers on their accounts upon call, or through email requests.
  • Reconciling of customer accounts and sending statements/invoices for the week.  
  • Ensuring customer accounts are updated.
  • Assisting in preparation of collection reports for the week.  
  • Providing ageing reports for customers as when required by Financial Controller 
  • Processing of Appraisals for customers purchasing vehicles.
  • Filing of customer account documentations.
  • Assisting in organizing banking as when required.
  • Attend meetings with customers as when required for payment discussion. 
  • Sending of statements with due invoices to customers 
  • Providing of invoices to customer as when required for the due months 
  • Ensuring payment are collected for the months.
  • Processing of debtors ageing report. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in the similar field
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Knowledge of leading policies, industry regulations and risk management
