We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual in the role of Area Manager to join our Sales Consumer Team based at the Nabua office, reporting to the Territory Manager.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing the distribution channel; reseller and dealers. The key component of this role is also distribution partner management.  This job will entail working at an extremely fast pace, and will require working cooperatively with and through the Consumer Sales Leadership Team, Finance, HR, Marketing, billing in order to complete tasks, and will be integral in motivating others.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and manage distribution channel of resellers and dealers.
  • Manage distribution partners to ensure robust market servicing as agreed.
  • Drive and Achieve Area Sales targets for all products and services.
  • Consistently grow the channel to drive business growth.
  • Proactively review with Consumer Sales Leadership Team actual sales trends, customer insights and propose ways to effectively improve Sales Field & Customer Experience.
  • Develop Area targeted sales roll out plans, coordinate the allocation of approved targets to channels and ensure that proper communication & workshop is conducted with Area Sales for effective impact. It is important to have this tailored to support each channel to successfully deliver approved targets on time and in full.
  • Drive innovation, team development initiatives and efficiency within the role’s KFA to unlock team sales potential.
  • Be responsible for continuous and targeted collaboration with both internal & external stakeholders to shape and deliver Consumer Segment strategies

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skill a required for this role:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • Sound knowledge of the B2B and B2C sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with mobile financial services platforms a bonus.
