Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Goolma Ltd which operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort is seeking applications from a range of qualified and experienced candidates for the following position:


The position will start immediately to assist with receiving, preparing, and storing to operational requirements.


  • Receive, cut and process orders to exact chef specification
  • Ensure portion, quality control, presentation and strict hygiene standards are met
  • Operate and maintain all butcher's machinery (bandsaw / Dry Ager / mincer / vacuum / flash freezer/ vac packer)
  • Assist with the entire production process as required, including stock control and rotation

Required skills and knowledge:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role 
  • Qualified or working towards a butchery qualification
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of meats and seafood
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with progressing to work beside the Chefs in the kitchen for career growth.
  • This is an on-site live-in role with shared accommodation.
