Mechanical Fitter- Industrial & Marine Engineering Pte Limited (FSM)

Industrial and Marine Engineering PTE Limited (IMEL), a division of Carpenters Group of Companies, has an exciting opening for dynamic individuals to join IMEL as Mechanical Fitter to based in The Federated States of Micronesia.

We’re seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter with the right skills and expertise to effectively maintain and repair various types of machinery found in a factory setting.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide detailed inspection, troubleshooting, oversight, and diagnosis
• Resolve operational problems in plant and distribution systems including boilers, heat exchangers, chillers
• Piping systems including expansion joints, valves, supports, and anchors.
• Be able to swiftly and comprehensively fault-find, rectify problems on mechanical equipment including sewage pumps and valves and associated pipe work, air-blowers, tanks, tank bridges, conveyor systems & fabrication structures
• Be able to layout fuel pipeline from tank to Genset or any equipment required
• Able to replace, repair and install fuel dispenser pump units

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Relevant qualification
• Ability to travel and work outside Fiji
• Honest, reliable and hardworking individual
