DT Global is the managing contractor of the Pacific Horticultural and Agricultural Market Access Plus program (PHAMA Plus) – an Australian and New Zealand Government funded aid program promoting primary industry exports from 10 Pacific countries (Fiji, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Niue and Tuvalu). We are seeking applications from suitably qualified personnel for the role of Environment, Climate and Resilience (ECR) Manager to join our PHAMA Plus team in one of our PHAMA Plus country office (TBC). Reporting to the Deputy Team Leader, the ECR Manager will be the primary technical contact with responsibility for prioritisation of environmental sustainability, climate change and disaster resilience across PHAMA Plus-supported interventions. S/he will be a focal point for knowledge-building and sharing, ensuring that the PHAMA Plus interventions are designed in a manner that is informed by latest thinking with regard to sustainable food production systems, improved environmental performance along agri-food value chains, soil and water, ecosystem protection, adaptation, resilience and improved disaster recovery plans and community, rural household, and enterprise level.


The successful candidate will qualifications in related discipline and have more than 8 years’ experience in international development or managing program components related to environmental sustainability, climate change and disaster resilience. S/he will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will have high level analytical and problem-solving skills, be innovative and enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure.


Note: full vaccination for COVID-19 is pre-requisite for working with DT Global.
