Quality Control Line Inspector - Viti Foods Pte Limited

Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies. We specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products and are locally owned with our rapidly expanding business activities both locally and overseas.                               

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced person for the position of QC Line Inspector to join our Quality Department at Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-inspection for the production line as per SOP
• Carry our regular production on-line checks to ensure product specification and quality standards are maintained
• Collect and conduct product sample lab testing
• Ensure all Critical Control Points are maintained within set limits.
• Carry raw material and finished product evaluation
• Calibration of scales & thermometers prior to starting the production
• Accurately completed QC checklist and maintain records.                   

Qualification and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in a Science related discipline – preferably
• Diploma in Food Technology or Lab Technology or any other related field.
• A minimum of 1-year working experience in a food processing environment.
• Knowledge on GMP, HACCP & BRCGS standards will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, technical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Have the drive, energy and personality to work as part of a team.
