Travel Consultant - Macquarie

Macquarie Travelworld is the largest IATA approved travel agency in Fiji and has over 60 years’ experience in the travel industry. The Company's sales offices are located in Suva, Nadi and Labasa.

We are currently looking for Travel Consultant to join our sales team in Labasa. The primary objective of the role is to provide efficient and exceptional customer service. The incumbent will report to the Manager North.

The suitable candidate should be performance driven and thrives on fast paced and demanding environment and shall be accountable for the following.

• Attend to customer travel requests including Reservation and Ticketing
• Meet assigned sales targets and provide efficient customer service
• Supplying travelers with pertinent information and useful travel materials
• Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for returns, cancellations and rebooking’s
• Maintain relationships with existing client and source new opportunities
• Create and update electronic records of clients and process invoices
• Accept payments and maintain relevant documents

Qualification and Experience: 

• Relevant qualification with at least 1-2 years proven experience as a travel/ticketing agent
• Must have high quality customer service knowledge with good spoken English
• Must be computer literate
• Mature, understanding and exceptional customer service skills.
