 We are seeking a self-motivated person that proactively provide level 1 & 2 support across multiple sites and ensuring timely response to queries, attention to detail and excellent written and communication skills to join the company in the position of IT Support Officer in the IT Department.  

 The IT Support Officer will be responsible for the following key areas of responsibility;

  •  Will be responsible for providing technical support via multiple channels; over the phone, in person or via the IT ticketing system (Service Desk Plus)
  • Providing Level 1 and 2 support across multiple sites and respond in a timely manner to requests and technical issues
  • General knowledge of user account management, software installations, troubleshooting of hardware, application and network issues is essential
  • Interacting and escalating to the appropriate internal teams, monitoring and maintaining IT systems and following processes and procedures
  • Available to be rostered for on-call duties after-hours and on weekends


  •  Minimum 1-year experience in an IT Support / IT Service Desk / Desktop Support role
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Strong communication skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused and customer-centric work approach
  • A technical, logical thought process with great problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support a range of technologies across various platforms to a high standard, especially Active Directory, Windows 7 & 10, Exchange 2016 and Office 365
  • Basic knowledge of networking and Windows Server administration
  • Ability to quickly become familiar with various IT systems and software through a mix of online course-based learning and on-the-job training
  • Proven ability to manage overall working activity within the team either through process or technological advancements
  • Must have the interpersonal and communication skills to be able to liaise with the business and IT leads
  • Must be able to work independently when required, but also be able to contribute as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a high pressured, changing environment.
  • “Can Do” attitude and a willingness to assist in a diverse range of IT initiatives and activities
  • Experience in using an IT Service Management toolset e.g. Service Desk+, Service Now, Remedy, Heat
  • Able to produce written communication and process/ procedure documents to a good standard
