Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Golden Manufacturers Pte Limited (GML) is a leading manufacturer and exporter of   packaging   materials. An exciting and challenging opportunity now exists for a well-qualified and experienced individual to join Golden Manufacturing Limited as its Electrical Engineer.

The primary responsibilities will include: -

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the following:

1. Managing power generation, transmission and distribution.
2. Working with high and low voltage equipment.
3. Designing systems and products using computer software.
4. Working with renewable energy sources.
5. Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
6. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and company requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
7. Ensuring compliance with specifications, company requirements and safety regulations in performing daily tasks.
8. Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects.
9. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
10. Supervising or training project team members.
11. Estimating material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation.
12. Maintaining electrical equipment.
13. Working with a variety of technicians.
14. Other task as and when given during course of employment.

To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following: -

1. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and electronics) from an accredited school.
2. Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software.
3. Licensed as a professional engineer.
4. Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
5. Design skills, knowledge & analytical thinking skills.
6. Able to use a computer and the main software packages confidently.
7. Excellent verbal communication skills.
