Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Patrick's Transport Ltd is a PNG based private company engaging in Wholesaling & Retailing, Real Estate and Customs Clearance. We are inviting exceptional candidates to apply for the above role.

The candidate will be responsible to:

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of physical stock in and out of the warehouse,
  • Overall supervision of warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity and staff morale.
  • Maintain accurate stock movement figures by conducting monthly and ad hoc stock takes when and if necessary.
  • Strict monitoring of stock levels to ensure consistent ordering patterns to avoid stock run-outs and minimize on ordering slow-moving lines.
  •  Responsible for stock rotation.
  •  Daily liaison with respective store managers and suppliers to maintain an orderly and timely flow of stock in and out of the warehouse.
  •  Performs tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements :

  1. 5+ years of working experience as a Supply & Distribution Manager or similar role.
  2. A Diploma / Certificate level qualification in Logistics
  3. Strong understanding of Mathematics and English.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  5. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
  6. The ability to lead and motivate a team.
