Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Opportunity for an Administrator to join our Construction project team, based in Suva, working on the multi-stage upgrade of the Australian Defence Wharves.

About the role:

  • Welcoming visitors, receptionist, managing telephone calls
  • Coordination and booking of training
  • Data entry of timesheets and HSEQ reporting data
  • Variety of office administration duties ordering stationery, couriers and catering
  • Maintaining company databases & contact details
  • Administration of supplier invoices and payment
  • Processing and payment of local taxes/duties
  • Reconciliation of petty cash
  • Assisting with travel and accommodation bookings
  • Minute taking at meetings

About you

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • IT savvy, proficient MSOffice skills
  • Accurate typing ability (50 wpm plus)
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Finance administration experience, including invoicing and petty cash
  • The ability to pick up and learn new systems with ease
