Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for looking after groups insurance claims such as Motor vehicle Insurance, Material damage & Business interruption, Public Liability, Workers Compensation, Marine Insurance, Medical Insurance and Travel Insurance.
- Liaise with the brokers and collate policy documents.
- Assist with placement of Insurance covers and process premiums.
- Ensure appropriate Insurance covers are placed for all risks.
- Prepare and file new claim, update policy.
- Follow-up and ensure claims are paid on a timely manner.
- Ensuring premiums are correctly computed and charges are accurate.
- Ensuring the accuracy and reality of the data on the insurance matter.
Requirements:
- Preferred certificate in general insurance and at least 3 - 5 years working experience with insurance brokers, insurance companies and regulatory bodies.
- Able to act proactively, establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments.
- Knowledge of insurance procedures and processes.
- Exceptional and thorough knowledge of work processes and administration operations.
- Experience in dealing with high levels of confidential data and information.
